ACCOUNTS
To place an order with Sunbelt Outdoor Products, Inc. you must be an authorized Sunbelt Outdoor Products, Inc. reseller.

ACCEPTANCE
Acceptance of any order is conditioned upon approval by Sunbelt Outdoor Products, Inc. Acceptance is limited to the Terms and Conditions of Sale, and Sunbelt Outdoor Products, Inc. hereby objects to any modifications of these Terms and Conditions of Sale unless agreed to in writing by same. Terms and conditions of sale not stated herein, but referenced on sales documents, are available for inspection and should be requested from your sales representative.

PAYMENT TERMS
Terms of Payment are Net 25th. Prox, unless otherwise specifically stated on our invoice. Past due interest will be assessed at the rate of 1.5% per month. All payment terms are extended only to customers who have been approved by the Sunbelt Outdoor Products, Inc. Credit Department. Returned checks will incur a $30 processing fee.

Class C
Briggs & Stratton Engines are subject to handling fees in addition to any regular freight policies, if applicable. Handling fees are calculated based on the total invoiced dollars of engines per single order. Handling fees for Briggs & Stratton Engines are as follows:

MERCHANDISE RETURNS
We truly hope you are fully satisfied with the products that you purchase from our company. If it is not the case, we ask that you please contact our Sales Support team (800-438-0660 at Sunbelt or 800-657-4343 for A&I) to obtain a Returns Good Authorization (RGA) number. For your convenience, A&I Products RGA’s can also be submitted online. For A&I Products, the return should be sent freight prepaid, with the RGA number clearly marked on the outside of the package to our Rock Valley, IA warehouse. In Canada, returns to A&I Products should be sent to our Woodstock, ON warehouse. All Sunbelt returns must be shipped to the original shipping warehouse, with the RGA clearly marked on the outside of the package. Please see the return policy and requirements below and please keep all packing materials and packing slips when you receive your product. A copy of the original packing list or invoice must be included with your return in order to be considered for reimbursement. Inspect and review your shipment immediately upon receipt so that if there are any problems or discrepancies, we can help correct them promptly.

RETURN POLICY
Returns are accepted within one year from the original date of purchase. A 15% restocking fee (30% for banded and L&M ribbed belts) will be charged for all returns unless: (1) the product is defective; or (2) you ordered the wrong product and, within 30 days, you return the wrong product and place an order for the correct product. A credit will be applied to the customer's account only after the merchandise has been received, inspected, and determined to meet all the requirements listed below.

REQUIREMENTS FOR RETURNS

  • The customer is responsible for all shipping charges including any desired insurance.
  • Total yearly returns are not to exceed 10% of previous year's sales.
  • All returned product cost calculations (including restocking fees and yearly returns) will be based on the original purchased price.
  • All returned products must include a copy of the A&I or Sunbelt packing slip or invoice.
  • All returned products must be active selling products. We will not accept returns of inactive or discontinued products.
  • All returned products must be in new, sellable condition. We cannot accept returns on products that are damaged (e.g. rusty or dented) or previously used or installed.
  • All returned products must be in the original packaging (where applicable).
  • All returns must be returned as ordered. Products that are incomplete or missing parts will not be accepted for return. Products that are in kits or packages must be returned in their entirety.
  • No returns are accepted past the end of the product's shelf life.
  • No returns are accepted on special orders.
  • Any return that does not meet the return requirements listed above will be scrapped at the customer's expense.
  • PRICING
    Price changes are effective on a specific date and all shipments on or after that date wIll be billed at the revised price. Prices are subject to change without prior notice.

    Sunbelt Outdoor Products, Inc. reserves the right to quote and sell direct to Government Agencies, authorized independent distributors, and to Original Equipment Manufacturer accounts who use components as integral parts of their own products.

    RETAIL ACCOUNT'S CUSTOMER PICK-UP
    We prefer to do business only with our retail accounts, but if you find it necessary to send your customer to us, he must possess written authorization to pick up parts that you ordered for him along with your order number. If multiple orders are being picked up, please ensure all order numbers are presented to the warehouse personnel upon arrival. We will not accept payment at time of pick up, but rather must follow the payment terms agreed upon during the ordering process. There is always the possibility your customer will discover your cost, so we urge you not to send your customers if it can be avoided.

    PICK UP OR WILL CALL ORDERS
    Please allow 3 hours to process orders for pick-up. Additionally:

  • We will not load parts that require a forklift into any vehicle other than a truck.
  • We will only deliver the parts on the order and if the customer questions or refuses the part we will instruct them to contact Customer Service to reorder or obtain a Return Authorization.  If it is a an end use consumer, we will instruct them to contact their selling retailer.
  • Warehouse personnel are not equipped to provide technical support or issue changes to an order.
  • LIMITATIONS OF SELLER'S LIABILITY
    Sunbelt Outdoor Products, Inc. shall not be liable hereunder for damages in excess of the purchase price of the item with respect to which damages are claimed, and in no event shall Sunbelt Outdoor Products, Inc. be liable for loss of profit or good will or for any other special, consequential or incidental damages.

    SUNBELT WARRANTY PROCEDURES
    Applies to products with a warranty sold on or after 15 January 2014.

    A&I Products and Sunbelt Outdoor Products warrant most products distributed by them to be free from defects in material and workmanship as described below. A&I Products and Sunbelt Outdoor Products reserve the right to inspect any item prior to granting warranty coverage. We pledge our support in obtaining settlement of reasonable and justifiable claims.

    What is Not Warranted - This warranty does not cover:

  • A&I A/C compressors not installed by an licensed or certified A/C repair shop;
  • used products;
  • any equipment that has been altered or modified in ways not approved by A&I or Sunbelt;
  • depreciation or damage caused by normal wear, lack of reasonable and proper maintenance, failure to follow operating instructions/recommendations, misuse, lack of proper protection during storage, vandalism, collision, or accident;
  • special order items;
  • pistons, rings or liners that are not ordered as parts of an overhaul kit;
  • components that have been disassembled or dismantled;
  • installation costs, any service calls, or other labor charges, other than for clutches and torque amplifiers as provided below;
  • transportation and/or freight costs associated with returning the product to the A&I or Sunbelt retailer's place of business;
  • any premium charged for overtime labor requested by the purchaser;
  • incidental or consequential damages or injuries, including, but not limited to, loss of crops, loss of profits, rental of substitute equipment or other commercial loss; or
  • statutory or implied warranties or conditions of merchantability or fitness.

  • To the extent legally required, implied or statutory warranties or conditions of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose shall be limited in duration to the applicable warranty period. Note: Some jurisdictions do not allow limitations on how long an implied warranty lasts or on the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages so the above limitations and exclusions may not apply. The warranty gives the purchaser specific legal rights. The purchaser may also have other rights that vary by jurisdiction. Complete terms and conditions are set forth in the document "A&I and Sunbelt Outdoor Products Limited Warranty."

    Retailers have no authority to make any representation or promise on behalf of A&I or Sunbelt or to modify the terms or limitations of this warranty in any way.

    To obtain warranty service, the end customer must submit the warranty claim to the original A&I or Sunbelt account where the product was purchased within the warranty term. At the same time, the end customer must present the product and the original sales receipt showing date of purchase.

    ERRORS AND OMISSIONS
    The prices and information contained in this catalog are correct to the best of our knowledge. However, we cannot be responsible for typographical errors.

    BACKORDERS
    We strive to ship every order complete. However, items are occasionally temporarily out-of-stock. Back orders will be shipped at Sunbelt Outdoor Products, Inc. expense as soon as they are available. Back orders unable to be filled after 90 days will be automatically cancelled. We do not back order items on C.O.D. or credit card orders.
